North American ESA 2026

The 2026 North American ESA Conference will be held in the new Virginia Guesthouse on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA, starting with a Thursday reception on October 29 and ending Sunday morning, November 1.  The local conference committee is:  Monica Capra, Irene Comeig, Daniel Harper, Charles Holt, Po Lin, Noah Myung, and Lexi Schubert.

Submissions for talks open: July 6

Submission deadline for talks: August 3  (notification by August 17)

Registration deadlines:  September 8 (early), September 21 (closes)

Early bird

Faculty, post-doc and professionals: $500

Students:  $350

LMIC faculty, post-doc and professionals: $400

LMIC students: $250

Standard

Faculty, post-doc and professionals: $550

Students: $450

LMIC faculty, post-doc and professionals: $500

LMIC students: $400 

Air travel: there are regular, short, and direct flights to Charlottesville VA (CHO) from New York LGA, Washington Dulles IAD, Atlanta, Chicago, and Charlotte NC.  IAD would typically be normally best for international arrivals from Europe.
