The 2026 North American ESA Conference will be held at the new Virginia Guesthouse on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. The conference opens with a welcome reception on Thursday, October 29, and concludes Sunday morning, November 1.
The program will feature contributed and invited presentations, plenary sessions, and professional-development opportunities for junior scholars, along with a reception in the garden of the historic Jeffersonian-era Pavilion VII, an early-morning 5k walk/run around the Rotunda, and a Halloween Trick-or-Treat on the UVA Lawn.
Submissions for talks open: July 6
Submission deadline for talks: August 3 (notification by August 17)
