I've been writing lyrics and poems for over 50 years. When I discovered computer based tools for creating music, it allowed me to compose, arrange, and produce to turn those lyrics into song. I'm a bit different from most composers in that I don't play an instrument. I compose my music electronically using, primarily, two programs: Band In A Box and EZkeys. When recording and producing, I primarily use Cakewalk.

Once I retired from my work as a management consultant and corporate trainer, it afforded me more time to devote to my music.
