Over the two days in our Google Dublin office, you’ll catch a rare 360 degree look behind the scenes at Google, develop your professional network, gain digital online advertising skills and learn more about Google internship and full-time career opportunities. Furthermore, you will have a great opportunity to meet our leaders and your potential colleagues.

Successful applicants will also get to experience first hand the richness of Ireland’s culture and learn why Dublin has been coined the "Silicon Valley” of Europe.

Location

You are invited to meet us at Google's European HQ in Dublin. Here is the exact location.

Dates

November 4th-6th, 2019

    • November 4th: Arrive to Dublin in the afternoon/evening.
    • November 5th: Full day of engaging content and interactive workshops in Google's European HQ.
    • November 6th: Half-day of content and then fly home.

Interviews

All participants will be invited to interview for full-time/ internship positions (depending on your graduation year) in the weeks following the event, over video conference. Note that you will not have to fly back to Dublin for these interviews, they will be conducted via Google Hangout (VC).

Languages and pre-requisites

The event is open to all current university students and recent graduates, who are fluent in English and any of the following four languages - Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and/or Danish. Applicants must have recently graduated or be expecting to graduate in 2019, 2020 or 2021.

The program is open to all higher education students, and is committed to addressing diversity in our company and the technology industry. We welcome applications from students from diverse backgrounds. Students with disabilities, students who identify as Black or Ethnic Minority, students from lower-income households, students from the LGBTQA+ community, or any other group historically under-represented in the technology industry, are encouraged to apply.

Students are invited to apply for this event now, via the application form in the accompanying email/ post. The deadline for applications is September 16th, 5pm GMT. We will be in touch around the end of September to let you know if you were successful in being selected.

Expenses

All event-related expenses will be paid by Google - flights, taxis, hotel, food etc. If you wish to arrive earlier or later and spend some leisure time in Dublin, we will endeavor to accommodate that.

Any expenses incurred outside of the program will not be covered by Google.

Successful applicants are personally responsible for organising travel insurance for the duration of the program prior to travel (such insurance should include, but not be limited to, coverage for: medical expenses, repatriation, belongings etc). Google cannot guarantee that successful applicants will be covered under any government health care schemes that may be relevant.
