The NorCal Tigers jumped out to an early lead but were unable to slow down the CV Braves' offense, falling 18-7 on Sunday at Chabot College.

NorCal came out aggressive at the plate, wasting no time getting on the scoreboard in the first inning. Joe Correa delivered a two-run single to give the Tigers an early spark, and Orlando Ramirez followed with an RBI groundout to put NorCal ahead 3-0.

The Braves answered with four runs in the bottom of the first, but the Tigers refused to back down. In the second inning, NorCal pieced together another impressive rally as Alex Salazar, Anakin Manuel, and Keito Frank each drove in a run with RBI singles, helping the Tigers reclaim a 7-4 advantage.

The turning point came in the bottom of the third when the Braves capitalized on timely hitting and several scoring opportunities. A five-run inning erased NorCal's lead and gave CV Braves a 18-7 advantage they would not relinquish. The home team continued to build momentum over the final innings, extending its lead behind a consistent offensive attack.

Despite the loss, the Tigers continued to battle at the plate, finishing with nine hits. Sebastian Conclara, Joe Correa, and Anakin Manuel each recorded two-hit performances to lead the offense. Correa and Salazar each drove in two runs, while Keito Frank and Orlando Ramirez also contributed key RBIs during NorCal's fast start.

Joe Correa made the start on the mound for the Tigers, pitching three innings while striking out one batter. Although the Braves generated consistent offense throughout the afternoon, NorCal continued to compete and looked to create opportunities whenever runners reached base.

CV Braves finished with 17 hits and received offensive contributions throughout the lineup, with multiple players collecting multi-hit games. The Braves also stayed aggressive on the basepaths, stealing six bases, and backed up their offense with a flawless defensive performance, committing no errors.

While the final score favored the Braves, the Tigers showed their offensive potential by scoring seven runs in the first two innings against a talented opponent. NorCal will look to carry that early offensive momentum into next Sunday's road matchup against the Delta Tortugas as they aim to return to the win column.
