Hello! My name is Julianna, but I often go by Juuls, and I am currently in the first year of my pre-caa journey. In my first two years of college I was on the pre-med track, and made a big transition to study Fashion Design and receive my Bachelors in Fine Arts. Long story short, after working in the Fashion Industry for around four years, I am now returning back to the field of healthcare as that is where I feel most at home. Patient care, accessible healthcare, and community are principles that I hold close to my heart and believe are the core foundations to caregiving and medicine. 

My non-traditional background is why I find Pre-CAA NTSA to be such an important organization and community! Making a career jump or transition can feel scary, but I am a big believer that all past decisions and experiences add up to prepare us and contribute to our next steps in life. I hope that through my position I can continue to learn, support, and build connections with those who too are transitioning from a non-traditional background into the field of anesthesiology. We got this!!
