I am a lead MRI technologist and safety officer at a busy hospital in South Florida, where years of experience in the operating room and collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and anesthetists have shaped my passion for a shift in career as an anesthesiologist assistant. My background in radiography and exposure to the dynamics of anesthesia have inspired me to pursue the path of becoming a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant. For years, I held myself back, questioning whether I was capable due to my past struggles in academics and finally I put that doubt to rest.  I am now fully committed to this journey and will stop at nothing to achieve my goal. My hope is not only to excel as a future CAA but also to inspire other nontraditional students to believe in their potential and take the first step toward their own dreams.
