This project includes three schools, two from Italy and one from Spain. It is going to start in 2018 and it will finish in 2020.The project ‘s aim is to apply the Tinkering methodology in the pre-school, to introduce Coding and Robotic activities in the primary school and to experiment CLIL methodology in STEM subjects.The project comes out from the awareness that all the partners work in schools where there are families in situations of socio- economic and working hardship and where there are a lot of pupils with disabilities and different ethnic backgrounds. It aims to promote social inclusion enhancing the different learning styles and the different intelligences for an effective integration into the working world.Each country, each with its own resources and its own teaching experiences, will share good practices, learning from them and building on them innovative teaching paths that can be used in their respective schools and that can be disseminated according to the dissemination plan.The project objectives are:1. Developing abstraction capacity2. Developing creative thinking to find new solutions3. Developing problem solving skills : identify, analyse, implement and verify possible solutions having as objective the search for the best solution.Digital literacy and language competence are the essential life skills to prepare children to become future 21st century citizens, active, aware and involved in an inclusive society, in an increasingly globalized world. It will be divided in 5 meetings in which 15 teachers from the project partners will partecipate.MATERIAL COLLECTION OF THE COURSE November 2018CODING AND CLIL ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOLS from November to December 2018FIRST VIRTUAL MEETING to check the performed activities on CodingROBOTIC AND TINKERING TRAINING COURSE will take place in Italy, in Milan, on January 2019ROBOTIC ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOLS February 2019.PUPILS EXCHANGE - CODING AND CLIL ACTIVITIES May 2019REALIZATION AND COLLECTION OF MATERIAL fulfilled during the whole projectPUPILS EXCHANGE IN TINKERING ACTIVITIES March 2020Using very diversified teaching methodologies (from frontal lesson to brainstorming, to cooperative learning, etc...) will facilitate the inclusion of disadvantaged pupils and will develop some of the European key competences: Communication in foreign languages, Digital Competence, Learning to learn, Social and Civic competences.The project involves 230 pupils of different school orders and 30 teachers, who are part of the project team, who will partecipate to the training courses and will build innovative educational paths.The project will allow to enrich the training offer regarding to the specific learning objectives, the acquisition of transversal skills, creativity, innovation and citizenship, the exploitetion of talents , the strengthening of attention, concentration and memory skills.Expected results :1. increasing of communicative and logical basic skills2. increasing of digital skills3. acquisition of new verbal and no-verbal codes4. increase of motivation , of interpersonal skills and empowerment of students;5. application in a real situation of what was learned.At local level we will involve organizations, associations and institutions from partners countries.At the national level we will involve in the experimentation teachers and school managers of other schools interested in the innovative activities and methodologies explained in the project.At the European level we will build a network for the dissemination of good practices in order to improve the quality of school education and European citizenship.Sustainability will allow us to transfer the methodology to other countries through the exchange of practices, materials and tools. We will propose the experimentation carried out to the University for it to become the object of research.The project has been written in Italian as it has been send to the Italian National Agency, however the partners communicated each other, and they will continue to communicate, in English.In this respect we want to specify that a translated copy of the project has been send to the Spanish partner.
