Pioneering Innovation in Microwave Engineering
He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea, in 2019, 2022, and 2025, respectively. Since 2025, he has been a Senior Engineer with the Advanced Terminal Development Team, Hanwha Systems, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His current research interests include modulated metasurfaces, active phased array systems, electromagnetic absorbers, and mmWave dual-band antennas for 5G NR and 6G wireless systems.
2012.3 - 2019.8: B.S. degree in EE from Pusan National University
2019.9 - 2022.2: M.S. degree in EE from Pusan National University
2022.3 - 2025.2: Ph.D. degree in EE from Pusan National University
During my graduate studies in electronics engineering, my research focused on metasurfaces and electromagnetic absorbers based on engineered magnetic materials. I also worked extensively on dual-band array antennas for low-Earth-orbit satellite communications and 5G NR wireless systems. In addition, I participated in several projects related to RF-optics systems, backscatter communications, and RF energy harvesting systems.
2025.1 - Present: Hanwha Systems (Basic Research Institute)
I'm interested in designing active phased array systems after joining the group.
