This page was created to empower, inform, and organize people of Kings County, CA in hopes of stopping AI data centers that have been approved or proposed in our area. 

Kings County, California is currently home to two data center proposals, at very different stages and scales:

• NAS Lemoore Data Center — A 100-megawatt, 600,000-square-foot AI-optimized data center planned on federal land at Naval Air Station Lemoore, developed by Ameresco and CyrusOne in partnership with the Navy. This is the more advanced and far larger project, backed by roughly $1 billion in investment and paired with a 425-megawatt solar farm.

• Kings Fairgrounds Edge Computing Project — A smaller proposal from Global Stack LLC to place "edge computing" infrastructure at the Kings County Fairgrounds in Hanford, as part of a larger push by the same company to use fairgrounds across California as data center sites.
