Welcome to my personal website!
I'm a Research Affiliate at Pascal Geldsetzer's lab at Stanford University's Department of Medicine, with affiliations at the University of Oxford (Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences) and Imperial College London (Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics). I lead UK-based analyses for the team's internationally covered study on shingles vaccination and dementia risk, applying causal inference and survival analysis to electronic health records, while developing novel statistical methodology at the intersection of the two fields.
I hold a PhD in Econometrics and Data Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute, defended 22 October 2025, supervised by Francisco Blasques, Siem Jan Koopman and Paolo Gorgi. My thesis, Beyond the Surface: Advancing Structural Models for Richer Causal Insights, developed theoretical contributions to causal inference, time-varying instrumental variable parameter models, and synthetic control methods.Â
Research fields: causal inference, survival analysis, econometrics, time-series
Additional fields of interest: machine learning, data science, health data analysis
