Staff Recommendations: 

A Non-Structural permit application was filed on December 10, 2024 to, "Remove and replace damaged siding to an existing single family home." The permit was not issued. An inspection was conducted by HDLC Staff on February 10, 2025 and it was noted that 100% of the primary façade was removed and portions of other exterior walls had been removed. The applicant has since filed an application for a Structural renovation with the intent to replicate a more historic building style. Had the application been filed, HDLC Staff would have recommended approval to the HDLC Commission. However, because the intervention to the building was so drastic and done without proper permitting, Staff recommends approval of the retention the demolition of more than 25% of the primary façade with a Tier 3 fine.
