Getting Started

To get started with android application development, you'll need the following:

• A device, phone or tablet, that runs Android. Any version will work, but the latest one is preferred. I'll be using a OnePlus 6 running Android Pie (Version 9) for all these tutorials but you could virtually use any android phone or tablet.
• A PC or a Laptop running Windows, Mac or Linux (preferably Ubuntu 16.04 or later) with about 4 GB of free disk space and 8 GB RAM. Note that the system requirements may differ on various factors, you can check the official word here for more.
• An active internet connection (you obviously have that if you're reading this).
