We conduct research on  Nano-Bio-Optics for fabricating nano-materials and devices, understanding interactions in biological systems with neuronal cells, and developing optical properties of nerve cell-nanomaterial conjugation systems.  

Based on these basic studies, we utilize the nano-bio interface to investigate advanced brain science application fields that can be applied in the areas of brain-machine interface systems, optical genetic application systems, and biophotonic systems using optical devices.
