In a time of educational and public-health crisis, top-heavy and overpaid educational administration, and possible cuts to faculty, staff, and academic units based on unclear metrics, we need a louder voice and a faster response. Join our experiment in direct democracy, as we craft our own rejoinder to "those people who don't get on the bus need to find another place."
The procedure for joining the discussion is to a) create a new gmail account if you don't already have a non-NMSU-affiliated email account, and b) send a message to the page administrator at saintjust09@gmail.com. We will then set up a Google Meet outside of work hours to plan next steps.

Next Steps: The union that successfully organized UNM Professors last year (AAUP-AFT), and the union that organizes Las Cruces public school teachers (NEA), are currently being consulted to see what they might be able to offer NMSUnion in terms of support, and people are still signing up with their gmails. In the meantime, please send your thoughts and ideas for what you'd like to see at NMSU to the admin of the page.
