About Dr. Giddaerappa
Dr. Giddaerappa completed his Ph.D from the Department of Chemistry, from Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari. Karnataka in Dec-2022. His research interest is to develop redox-active Bio-Inspired N4-Macrocles for electrochemical applications. Later, He joined as National Postdoctoral Fellow (NPDF-SERB) to the SMAD Lab, YRC, Yenpoya (Deemed to be) University in April-2024. Currently, He is working on the field development of Phthalocyanine molecules for the sustainable energy applications including Water splitting, Fuel cell and Batteries etc, under the mentorship of Prof. K. Sudakaraprasad YRC.

1) Recived 2nd Rank in the MSc Chemistry in year 2017 to the VSK University, Karnataka
2) Received Prestigious NPDF Fellowship from the DST_SERB, India in the year 2024
3) Presented a paper entitled “Efficient Water Oxidation Using Non-Precious Macrocycle-Embedded carbon on Nickel Foam” in ICONMAT-2025, international Conference held on 12th - 14th February, 2025 at CUSAT, Kerala.
4) Attended Symposium on Advancement of Emerging Technologies in Energy Storage, held at Atria University on 5th February 2025.
5) Presented a paper entitled “Thermal Treatment of CoFe Prussian Blue Analogues for High-Performance Water Electrolysis” in 3rd International Conference on Advances in Material Science and Technology (ICAMST-2025), on 24-26, 2025, Ramaiah University, Bengaluru. (Got best Oral Presentation Award).
6) Presented a paper entitled “CoFe Prussian Blue Analogues for High-Performance Water Electrolysis” in WAMSEt-2025, Workshop on Advances Materials and Sustainable Energy Technologies, on 29 july-2nd August, 2025, University of Kerala, Kerala (Got best Oral Presentation Award).
