Proceed east down the south side of Main St.
Site is the vacant lot to the left of the pharmacy.
This vacant lot was once the home of Kennedys Hardware Store, owned by William H. Kennedy. The store sold hardware products and coal, and acetylene gas was produced in this building. Mr. Kennedy also ran an antique business at this location.
Since then, the building has been home to a store selling vegetables, a variety and gift shop, a telephone office, and apartments. The building was eventually torn down, and the lot now sits vacant.
