Continue east down Main St.
Site is the current location of Mainstreet Credit Union.
This site was once the location of the Farmer's Hotel, which faced the present day post office.
The Scout House sat to the south of the lot, and was home to the scouting movement as well as the Lawn Bowling Club, which was located between there and the street.
The lot sat empty following the demise of the lawn bowling club and clay tennis courts, and in 1979 the CIBC moved from across the street to a new bank at this site. When CIBC left Ailsa Craig in 1999, Suzanne and Garnet Smalley opened a quilt and fabric shop named Cotton By Post, which closed in 2016.
The Mainstreet Credit Union purchased the building, and once again a bank occupied the site.
