Research Gate Registration Process

Registering with an institution email address, such as one ending with ".edu" or specific to your organization, usually follows a similar process to registering with a regular email address. Here's how you can do it:

1. Go to the ResearchGate website: Visit https://www.researchgate.net/ in your web browser. (Google Chrome). See Figure 1.

2. Sign Up: Look for the "Log in" option on the homepage and click on it.

3. Choose Log in  Method: Since you want to register with an institution email, select the option to sign up with your  Continue with google .  See Figure 2.

4. Enter Institution Email: Input your institution email address into the provided field. Make sure it's the one provided by your institution, ending with ".edu" (Gmail  Institutional Address, name@dmmmsu.edu.ph)or the domain specific to your organization. See Figure 3 and Figure 4.

5. Complete Registration: Follow the prompts to complete the registration process. This might involve creating a password, providing your name, and possibly confirming your email address through a verification email sent to your institution email account. See Figure 5 to Figure 12.

6. Complete Profile: After successfully registering, you'll likely be prompted to complete your profile by adding details such as your academic affiliation, research interests, publications, and profile picture. See Figure 5 to Figure 12.

7. Verification: Depending on ResearchGate's verification process, you may need to verify your institutional affiliation. This could involve confirming your email address or providing additional information to verify your association with the institution. See Figure 13 and 14. 

8. Start Using ResearchGate: Once your registration is complete and your profile is set up, you can start using ResearchGate's features to connect with other researchers, share your work, and explore research in your field. Click photo and select Profile to view your Research Gate Citation URL Link. Copy your Research Gate Citation URL Link  and paste in your notepad for the FINAL STEP. See Figure 15  and Figure 16.
