Founded on January 25 of 2023, NKDSDC is the sole debate organization at Naogaon Krishna Dhan Govt High School that competes at the national level. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence in debate and our dynamic, supportive team environment.
About Us
Debate Format
The NKDSDC debates in both Asian Parliamentary and British Parliamentary formats and also participates in various domestic tournaments across the country.
Our Community
We welcome all interested in competitive debate, regardless of experience. Our team values equality and inclusivity, and our members range from former national champions to newcomers who discovered debate with us. No prior experience is needed.
Life as a Member
At NKDSDC, we’re more than just a debate team—we’re a family. We train together through weekly meetings, practice rounds, and casing sessions, and we compete at local and national events, including prestigious tournaments in Dhaka and Rajshahi.
Our connection goes beyond debating. We have regular socials and an annual retreat for fun and team building. Members can also get involved in organizing tournaments, participating in demonstration debates, and traveling as judges. Joining NKDSDC means becoming part of a supportive and dynamic community dedicated to growth and success.
Life after Debate
Our alumni have thrived in diverse fields—business, public speaking, academia—thanks to the debate club. It enhances critical thinking, communication skills, and confidence, leading to significant personal and professional growth.

The NKDSDC conducts competitive tryouts at the start of each academic year. Previous debate experience is not required; we are looking for intellectual potential and a strong commitment to the team. Although many of our members have been award-winning debaters in high school, some of our most successful participants had no prior experience before joining.
