The map to the left features pins for various Cold War related sites around New Jersey. Aside from military installations such as Nike Missile bases, NJ was home to various production facilities and even communications systems essential to keeping phones and other devices working in the event of a nuclear attack on the NYC region.  

Some of the sites are off-limits while others are home to museums. Please confirm the legality of visiting any sites on the map before going.
