Our mission as a Ballet Folklórico group is to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Mexico through the art of traditional dance. We are dedicated to showcasing the diversity and beauty of Mexican folklore by performing dances that represent the different regions of our country.
We aim to educate and entertain audiences of all ages and backgrounds by sharing the stories, traditions, and history behind each dance. We are committed to fostering a community of cultural pride and appreciation through our performances, and to inspiring the next generation of dancers to carry on the legacy of Mexican folklore. We believe that through dance, we can celebrate our heritage, strengthen our sense of identity, and promote cultural understanding and harmony.
This group is dedicated to delivering high-quality and professional folkloric entertainment to the NIU community and aims to educate students and other audience members about the history of Mexico.
