Hello, I have newly acquired Nitrokey 3A NFC & mini. I wanted to test the OpenPGP functionality of the alpha firmware, but I cannot force the update to an older version.
Is there a nitropy flag to force downgrade?
This is indeed a security feature. You can only switch between firmware images with the same major, minor and patch version (i. e. the first three numeric components). There is no way to disable this protection for regular devices. If you want a dedicated developer device, you can order a Nitrokey 3A NFC Hacker device without this downgrade protection (and without secure boot) from shop@nitrokey.com.

This drink joins a Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, Chocolate Cream Cold Brew, Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew, Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, and seasonal favorites as they come and go. On the nitro end of things, this Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro is a welcome addition since this part of the menu only had the original nitro and a Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew before this new drink.
I completely agree with Zakuj. I always use few addons on all my browsers such as disconnect, https everywhere, adguard, better privacy and so on. Like this everyone has their own favorite list.
Still I prefer to have atleast a built in addon. Now with sites having flash based addons everwhere (few sites such as movie sites etc) there is a lot of risk involved.
But I remember reading from the maxthon nitro creator that they will include this facilities in future, I am hoping this browser would be lighter and better.
