Nitish Thakur - Academic

Hi everyone! I completed my 10th from RN High School, Samartha (under Bihar Board) and my 12th from Bihar Board (English Medium) in 2015. After that, I joined Burdwan University in the Electronics Department and graduated in 2019. In August 2020, I took admission to IIT Ropar in the Communication Systems branch but dropped out to prepare for ISRO, DRDO, and BARC interviews. Later, in August 2021, I joined IIT Roorkee but left after eight months due to my selection in NTPC Limited

Currently, I am working as a Regular Lecturer at Government Polytechnic, Madhepura, under DST Bihar (Government of Bihar).

I am also preparing for future opportunities and considering multiple paths, including UPSC CSE, BPSC CCE, or pursuing a Ph.D. However, I am still undecided, and time will determine the direction I choose.

As of now, I am satisfied with my role as a lecturer. Let’s see what the future holds!😊🙏

After completing my B.Tech, I was preparing full-time for government jobs in Delhi. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, government recruitment was halted for nearly two years. Since I had a good GATE rank, my only option at that time was to pursue an M.Tech. Additionally, I received a monthly scholarship of ₹12,400, which helped support my preparation.

Despite enrolling in M.Tech twice, my primary focus remained on preparing for various technical government job exams. In 2022, as recruitment processes resumed, I successfully cleared multiple highly competitive national-level exams and received job offer letters.
