当社は、1966年に内航船修繕工場として設立された桑田船渠株式会社のグループ会社として、1996年に遠洋不定期船の保有会社として創設されました。

創設当初から現在に至るまで、取引各社様に支えられ、世界情勢などのコントロールし難い荒波にも耐え、順風満帆な事業継続ができております。

当社の所有船舶は、ばら積み貨物船（BULK CARRIER) であり、取扱い貨物は、鋼材などの半製品や、非鉄金属・穀物・肥料・塩・セメント・石灰石などの原材料と多種多彩です。航海も日本発着のみならず、大西洋・地中海・インド洋水域などでの三国間輸送を展開しております。

海運造船業界には、計り知れない程の多くの人々が携わっておりますが、意外と人と人はどこかで繋がってるという特殊な雰囲気があります。これはおそらく船舶は建造から解体まで20年間以上も稼働し続ける上、各船舶にはそれぞれ船名が付いており、他の工業製品に比べ思い入れが強くなるためではないかと思っております(Shipの三人称はItではなくSheである）。実際、初めてお会いする海外の海運従事者と会話する際、当社保有船の船名を知っている方は結構いらっしゃいますし、船上の機器類なども各機器メーカー様へ長期に渡りアフターメンテナンスを依頼させて頂いております。

当社社員はもちろんのこと、社外の取引先様との信頼関係を大切にし、共にチーム一丸となり今後も荒波を乗り越えていきます。

Greetings

Founded in 1996 as owning company of Ocean-going Vessel by Kuwata Dockyard Co.,LTD. 

Kuwata Dockyard had been established in 1966 as a ship repair yard of the Coasting-Vessel and set up us as their group company.

Since its founded, we have been supported by business partners, and sustained an ongoing business despite the fact that our world is rapidly changing.

Vessels we possess are Bulk Carriers that carry steel material, non-ferrous metal, grain, fertilizer, salt, cement, coal etc.

Voyages we expand are not only to/from Japan but also worldwide trade such as to/from Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean etc.

There are numerous people who involved in shipping world, and we are connected to each other.

Each Vessels are named (Vessels’ third person is not “it” but “she” ), and furthermore,　Vessels continue to work for over 20 years from the construction to demolition.

Thus, people have a deep attachment to Vessels.

We will continue to overcome the raging waves with confidential relationships with our colleagues and business partners.
