I earned my Doctor of Philosophy degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Science and Technology (UST), Republic of Korea in 2023. Throughout my doctoral program, I achieved notable recognition, including the UST President Award for the Best PhD Graduate in 2023, the UST Research Paper Grand Award in 2022, and the UST Research Paper Excellence Award in 2021. Prior to my doctoral studies, I obtained my Integrated Master of Science degree in 2017 from the Department of Chemistry at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. My academic excellence was acknowledged with the institute medal from NIT Rourkela.

My current research focus revolves around the development of metalated covalent-organic frameworks for carbon dioxide fixation. Previously, I have worked on the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks and sodium transition metal oxides for capturing acidic gases. With a prolific research career, I have authored more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, secured 5 patents, and contributed to 4 book chapters, accumulating over 1800 citations for my impactful work. My achievements have led to recognition on the Stanford List of Top 2% World Scientists for both 2023 and 2022.
