Nishant Gupta (Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering, LNMIIT Jaipur, India. Prior to this, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at ISY Department of Electrical Engineering, Linkoping University, Sweden. His research interests include 5G networks, UAV communications, air-borne networks, sub-THz networks, convex optimization, and machine learning.

Nishant Gupta received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Wireless Communication) under Dr. Satyam Agarwal from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. During his research he worked with several professors around the world, Dr. Deepak Mishra (University of New South Wales, Australia), Dr. Kamesh Namuduri (University of North Texas, US), Dr. Brijesh Khumbani and Dr. Sam Darshi (IIT Ropar), Dr. Aymen Fakhreddine (Alpen-Adria-Universitat Klagenfurt, Austria) and Dr. Ankur Bansal (IIT Jammu). In 2018, he received the M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering under Dr. Naresh Kumar, and Prof. Harish Kumar from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (U.I.E.T), Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. During his research, he worked with Prof. Sakshi Kaushal (UIET, Panjab University) and Prof. Arun Kumar Sangaiah (Vellore Institute of Technology, India). In 2015, he completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In 2023, he joined as a post-doctoral researcher under Prof. Erik G. Larsson in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linkoping University, Sweden. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering (CCE) at LNMIIT Jaipur, India.

The work includes the predictive modelling of hardware for voice-over IP using machine learning, published in the notable journal.
