I am an  Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). My work explores police and judicial accountability; I work closely with law enforcement agencies in South Asia to explore mechanisms that can make the justice system more equitable and just.  I completed a BA from Columbia (2010), MSc from Oxford (2012), PhD from the University of California—Berkeley (2020), and post-doctoral training from Stanford (2022). Previously, I worked as an aide in New York City government.
