Short Bio

My current research interests focus on bridging language and vision understanding, some interesting problems such as language-driven image editing, language-based image synthesis and language interpretability of deep model predictions. In addition, I am also interested in my previous research agenda which mainly focus on image/video object segmentation and matting.

I joined Adobe Research at San Jose as a Research Scientist in 2018. Before that, I graduated in 2017 from the ECE Department of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Thomas Huang. Before joining UIUC, I obtained the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the honored class of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011, advised by Associate Prof. Weiyao Lin and Prof. Xiaokang Yang.
