Sunday

Breaking of Bread (Lord's Supper): 10:30 AM

Following the teachings of the Lord and the examples of the early Christians, we meet on the first day of every week remember the Lord Jesus and His death for us. The first hour of the meeting is for worship and congregational singing. Without pre-arrangement the meeting is open for men in the fellowship to stand and audibly lead in worship and thanksgiving to God for His Son, while others worship silently (1Tim 2:8-15). This is followed by all in the fellowship partaking of the bread and wine, as the Lord Jesus himself requested “Do this in remembrance of Me” when he instituted this practice in Luke 22:19-20. The meeting concludes with a message from the Bible.

Sunday School: 12:15 PM

The Sunday School begins with singing children's songs, and is followed by a story or message from the Bible.

Gospel Service: 7:30 PM

The word Gospel means "Good News!"  The Good News we preach is that “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) The gospel meeting is opened with congregational singing and prayer.  Two pre-arranged speakers then share gospel messages. They read one or more Bible texts before presenting the clear message about God’s way of salvation.

In this meeting we emphasize the Bible’s call to repent from sin and personally accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.  Since this is an individual matter, no “altar calls” are ever held; personal conversation, however, is always available if desired.

Wednesday

Prayer Meeting: 7:30 PM

The meeting is divided into two sections: the first for prayer and the latter for systematic Bible study.  The purpose of the Bible study is to learn the truths of the Word of God and to gain instruction from it that will help us in our daily lives.
