I am Junior Professor at the TU Dortmund University. From August 2026 to January 2028 I am Substitute Professor in Economics (Acting Chair of Applied Political Economy) at the University of Mannheim.

My research interests lie in the fields of economic history, labor and demographic economics, and political economy.
