I am an Associate Professor working as a  Lecturer at Bilkent University, Industrial Engineering Department. I have recieved my Phd degree from Middle East Technical University  in 2012 and my Bs. degree  from Ankara University in 2005, both from Mathematics Departments.  During my Phd, I had a chance to work with SINGULAR team at Techsnische Universitat Kaiserslautern  between 2010-2011. I have been supported by  Turkish National Science Foundation (TÜBİTAK)  during my Phd for five years and  my visit to Germany with the scholarship programs 2211 and 2213 respectively.

My broad research interests are commutative algebra and computational algebraic geometry with a focus on Arf rings, Semigroup rings, Monomial curves, Hilbert Functions and Free resolutions ( graded).

I am a reviewer for Zentralblatt Math and American Mathematical Society (AMS)  since 2018,

Part of my reseach during 2014-2017 is granted by TÜBİTAK 1001 program as a researcher.
