I had the opportunity to work under Dr. N.D. Chakladar during my summer internship where I worked on the feasibility of using FRP Composite pipes for Naval Applications. During my internship I was guided by sir in detail about the work and improved my knowledge of doing Finite Element Analysis. I got an in-depth understanding of the research process, the field and ongoing research in this topic. I did my summer internship under Prof Chakladar’s guidance. Working in the lab was a great educational experience for me. From simulation to fabrication, I was able to acquire and comprehend a wide range of composites-related concepts.  Dr Chakladar and the PhD students who were present in the lab provided impeccable guidance. Coming from a different state, I was a stranger to the campus, however, everyone in the lab along with Dr Chakladar made me feel extremely welcome. I was a summer intern supervised by Dr. Chakladar during my undergraduate studies. My internship was conducted online due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, he conducted frequent online meetings and guided me in every possible way to learn MATLAB modelling and produce meaningful results by the end of my internship. I was involved in the fabrication of composite fibre in the Composite laboratory. I availed all the facilities required for the fabrication of Composite. I had an overall good experience in the Composite lab. I used i9  system for the simulation in ABAQUS software and I received all the support from my Professor and Research Scholars wherever I had doubt during simulation. I am really grateful for your constant support. Regular meetings and clear explanation of the work was provided. However being very new to the software it was a bit typical to understand it. I would like to thank sir for taking me in under his wing to work on the project. I had a particular interest in modelling , simulations and manufacturing. This project was the perfect amalgamation of all these concepts. The way sir guided me throughout the time period of the project was marvelous. I got to learn first hand from sir.
