Nilaej (pronounced "knee la edge")  is a constructed language created by SuperSpaceM in August 2022.

Nilaej has several dozens of words and a grammar similar to tokipona.

The main feature of the language is that every word is represented by 1 ASCII-symbol.

This means you can type messages in the language effectively, using normal English keyboard.

Text in the Nilaej language usually is 1.5-3 times shorter than the same text in English.

The Nilaej language seems to be easier to learn than tokipona.
