I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at LMU Munich and the ifo Institute for Economic Research. My research focuses on media economics, digital transformation, and the political economy of social media. I study how digital platforms shape public discourse and economic behavior. Methodologically, I combine NLP, machine learning, and causal inference to analyze large-scale text and network data.
Before joining academia, I worked for several years in journalism and strategic communication, contributing to outlets such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, ZEIT, Harvard Business Manager, and WDR. I regularly moderate high-level economic panels and academic discussions, including events hosted by the University of Bonn and the German Bundesbank.
