I am a mechanical engineer at GE Renewable Energy in Schenectady, New York, USA. My research background is in solid mechanics, material characterisation, finite element simulation and fracture mechanics. Before joining GE, I spent one year as a forming engineer at EWI, Columbus, OH. I earned my doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada and my masters and undergraduate degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India.
