Nikhil Balaji

I am an Assistant Professor and TBO group Faculty Fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. Before this, I was a Research Associate at the Department of Computer Science and  lecturer at Trinity College at the University of Oxford,  postdoctoral fellow at Ulm university, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I obtained my Ph.D in Computer Science at the Chennai Mathematical Institute.

I mainly work at the intersection of Computational Complexity Theory, Automata theory/Verification and Numerical algorithms. I enjoy thinking about computational problems from Algebra and Number theory.
