Techniques
I begin my creation by making a drawing in graphite or sanguine which I then photograph.
"Paint"
I open a blank page and overlay the drawing I photographed.
I use the brush tool and the color palette to create the painting.
"Engraving"
I open a black or sanguine page and superimpose the drawing that I photographed.
I remove the black or sanguine with the mouse, revealing the white underneath.
I use the brush and the virtual tools that I created (gouges).
The difficulty of working with a mouse forced me to develop a refined "writing" style.
The ability to "zoom" allows me to work on the details with precision.
I can immediately visualize the result.
