We are Nihility a portuguese Death Metal band from Porto!

Soldiers under the black flag of Nihilism!

BAND BIO

Nihility was formed in 2012 in the city of Paços de Ferreira in Portugal.

The band is composed by Mário Ferreira (Vocals), Renato Barbosa (Guitar/Vocals), Afonso Gomes (Guitar), Luís Moreira (Drums) and Miguel Seewald (Bass). Since its formation the band had a heavy influence of Death and Black Metal, a combination that eventually created the sound produced nowadays.

Through trials and tribulations, and a few lineup changes, finally in 2019 Nihility put out its first studio record titled: ''Thus Spoke The Antichrist'' and in 2022 the second album is released ''Beyond Human Concepts''.

Recorded in Braga (Portugal) at UltraSound Studios by Pedro Mendes and launched by Black Lion Records. Nihility's lyrical content are inspired in nihilism especially the works of Friedrich Nietzsche.
Following 2024, currently in the studio working on our third album at UltraSound Studios.

''Emphasis on slamming riffs and rabidly fast Satanic machismo, they wouldn’t be out of place sharing bills with bands like Ingested either. ‘Thus Spoke The Antichrist’ is a grim, torturous and monolithically heavy album''.
