Kumar Nielarshi

About Me

I am a current Graduate student(2018 batch) at NC State University pursuing Computer Science. I am currently looking for Full-time opportunities in Full-Stack / Software Development starting Dec 2018.

I interned at Nokia, Raleigh during my Summer, 2018 and am presently continuing as part-time with the same company. Apart from that, I worked with NC State on 2 USDA funded research projects for analysing spatiotemporal data(crop, pests, flights) and designing and developing a full-stack web application for visualising through responsive and interactive UI for biologists. The work also includes creating a rule-based simulation tool for future predictions. I worked there from Oct, 2017 to Aug, 2018.

In total, I have gained 5.5+ years of experience. Prior to joining NC State, I gained an experience of 5 years working as a lead developer in TCS Ltd working for Lloyds Banking Group. I have an international exposure of 1 year working with Clients at their London(UK) based Agile development centre.

I have worked on around a dozen projects involving web app, mobile app and both back-end & front-end development and was involved in all the phases of app development including requirement gathering (documentation), creating use cases, managing teams, multi-tier multi-layer designing, interacting with client, development, testing, performing quality control of applications and so on.
