This section contains short explanations of basic concepts in Pandas. Jupyter Notebook files are available in the Python-edu repository on my GitHub: feel free to fork and improve them.

Pandas is built on the top of NumPy and provides an efficient interface to store and operate data in DataFrames, i.e. multi-dimensional arrays with row and column labels, which often contain heterogeneous and/or missing data.
