Currently serving as Senior Scientist at the Social Computing Group at the University of Zurich, I lead research on LLMs and agentic AI, focusing on modeling, calibrating, and simulating LLM-based social media systems. My work bridges technical innovation with responsible AI development, having previously led an SNSF-funded project on algorithmic fairness for social media content creators, published in Nature Communications.
My expertise includes winning a gold medal in the ARC Kaggle challenge on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), where I applied advanced machine learning, deep learning, and optimization techniques. I bring a multidisciplinary approach to AI research, combining rigorous technical skills with deep understanding of human behavior and social systems.
With a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich and experience across academia and industry, I have successfully secured over 400,000 CHF in research funding and mentored numerous PhD and graduate students. My work has been recognized with top-tier publications, including a top-50 physics article in Nature Communications.
