About

Hi, welcome to my personal webpage!

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Prior to joining NHH, I held a postdoctoral position at the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research.  I graduated from the Technische Universität Berlin in 2022 and was affiliated with the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and the DIW Graduate Center during my PhD studies.

My primary research interest lies in the field of empirical environmental economics, with a particular focus on the impact of local pollution externalities on humans and firms and the effectiveness of pollution mitigation policies. I focus on using econometric methods to study causal relationships with microdata.

My secondary research interest concerns the behavior of public utilities and state-owned enterprises.
