I'm currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu, Finland, at the Center for Ubiquitous Computing, in the Perception Engineering group, working under the supervision of Prof. Steven LaValle and Prof. Timo Ojala.

I defended my PhD in Applied Mathematics in November 2022 at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, France, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Edoardo Provenzi, in collaboration with the Nice Research Center of Huawei Technologies France.

I obtained my BSc and MSc degree in Mathematics at Dipartimento di Matematica Tullio Levi-Civita, Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy, where I was a student from 2014 to 2019.

My current reseach interests revolve around the mathematical aspects of modeling visual perception.

During my PhD, I conducted research on color perception from a mathematical perspective and its applications to color image processing.  You can find my PhD thesis here.
