About:

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa. I currently work as a graduate research assistant at the University of Hawai`i Economic Research Organization (UHERO), as a part of the Pacific Alliance Against COVID-19 (PAAC) working on projects evaluating the effects of the pandemic and other health disparities in the state of Hawai`i. My research lies primarily in Applied Microeconomics of Health Economics, Public Health, Policy Evaluation, and Political Economy.

I am on the job market during the 2023-2024 academic year. My job market paper studies how exposure to Deaths-of-Despair impacts U.S. presidential election outcomes from 2004-2020.
