Nicole Siegal

About:

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Previously, I worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Hawai`i Economic Research Organization (UHERO), as a part of the Pacific Alliance Against COVID-19 (PAAC) and Maui Wildfire Exposure Study (MauiWES) working on projects evaluating the effects of the pandemic, the 2023 Maui wildfire, and other health disparities in the state of Hawai`i. 

My research lies primarily in applied microeconomics of health economics, public health, policy evaluation, and political economy.
