I am a postdoc at the University of Turin where my mentor is Andrea Seppi. My research is funded by the ERC Consolidator grant GENERATE: GEometry and aNalysis for (G,X)-structurEs and theiR deformATion spacEs
I obtained my PhD at SISSA, in October 2023, under the supervision of Andrea Tamburelli (Pisa University). Here is my PhD thesis.
My primary research area is Differential Geometry and Geometric Topology. In particular, I am interested in the study of higher rank Teichmüller spaces, geometric structures, Higgs bundles and minimal/maximal surfaces into homogeneous spaces. From time to time I also like to learn new topics about complex differential and algebraic geometry.
Recent activities: 20-hour PhD course on the non-abelian Hodge correspondence - co-organizer of the conference Manifolds and Groups in Bologna IV
Upcoming travels:
22-26 June 2026 European School of Differential Geometry, Università dell'Aquila
21-25 September 2026 Geometry Conference in honour of Nigel Hitchin 80th birthday, ICMAT
