Welcome to my site! My name is Nicholas (Nick) Brown and I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Florida State University.

I am broadly interested in applications of econometric theory to applied microeconomic problems. Specifically, I work on panel data estimators of causal inference when traditional estimators are biased. My work has touched on both linear and strictly nonlinear estimators, including Poisson QMLE, common correlated effects regression, and treatment effect imputation.
