I am a PhD candidate in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My research centers on farm operations and risk managment. I focus on understanding and improving dynamic characterizations of farmer decision making. My Job Market Paper uses a dynamic programming model to assess ex-post moral hazard in prevented plant insurance. I also work on the USDA-ERS REAP Model: A partial equilibrium model of the US farm sector for assessing production and management distribution shifts and subsequent environmental effects from market and policy shocks.Â
