Nicholas Clarke

Welcome to my site! I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Prior to joining UAH, I spent three years in the same position at Middle Tennessee State University. I earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Florida State University in May 2020 and a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of West Florida in December 2014. 

I have research and teaching interests in corporate finance, payout policy, equity issuance, corporate governance, and behavioral finance. Much of my research focuses on the underlying motivations for corporate decisions, particularly share repurchases.
