陳以軒— 《瞬頃之境》
Yi-Hsuan Chen— Reawakening
《瞬頃之境》靈感來自「音景」中的聲音流動與變化。作曲者首次注意到「音景」的音樂特性是於某條位於聖地牙哥拉霍亞區的海岸邊與外界隔離的「小徑」中。此環境的聲音型態包含線性、點狀與不同節奏規律的動態變化,有著能夠成為作曲材料的淺力。因此,透過「音景」素材的聲響分析與提煉,作曲者希望能夠從模仿特定環境「音景」的思維獨立而出,進而創造出想像與虛構的景(Imaginary Landscapes),並能讓觀眾以聽覺的角度切入,彷彿進入從未見過的環境「音景」中。此作品共分三個樂章,每部分針對特定聲響的變化與互動: 第一樂章:〈霧中徑〉 第二樂章:〈透〉 第三樂章:〈古聲醒〉。
This piece was created in response to my soundscape experience when I happened to enter a quiet path, near La Jolla beach in San Diego, where the sonic environment was so delicate and fleeting. It was the space that blocked the outside noise, making me feel as if I entered a landscape painting. In this space, each sonic element had its timbral characteristics and rhythmic pulsations. If we paid close attention to the texture, each moment was so unique and never repeated itself. Staying in that place enabled me to perceive different layers of temporal flow and sonic textures. In this work, I want to reawaken people's perception of the physicality of the natural sounds to reconstruct the sonic experience of that environment, creating an imaginary landscape that could only be felt aurally.
