Student Scholarship

2023 NHAFCS Scholarship

The New Hampshire Association of Family and Consumer Sciences recognizes students for their leadership, experience, and career goals by offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The award will be sent by check to the college/institution in January of the following year for tuition purposes.

Requirements

  • NH Resident

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Pursue a career in an FCS field

  • Completed 2 or more FCS or FCS-related course

Application Check List

  • Completed Application with attached essay

  • FCS Teacher Recommendation Letter

  • Additional Teacher/ Guidance Counselor Recommendation Letter

  • 2022-2023 Official High School/College Transcript in sealed envelope

Scholarship Application

This is the application that must be completed, including applicant information, educational plans, FCS related plans, academic and extracurricular achievements and activities, short essay questions, and signature page.
This must be completed correctly to be eligible for scholarship.
